Suitable for teaching the law of conservation of momentum in physics
Newton's pendulum ball is a physical experiment instrument used to demonstrate the motion law of Newton's pendulum. It is fixed on a fixed bracket by a rope or thread, and a weight is hung on it, and the motion of Newton's pendulum can be observed by manual swing. Newton's pendulum ball can be used for teaching, demonstrating and experimenting in physics, and can also be used for exhibitions in places such as science museums. Its main advantage is that it is easy to operate, intuitive and easy to understand, and it is easy for students to understand the physical principles. It is one of the classic physical experiment instruments.
Dimensions: 183 x 151 x 185mm (ball diameter 1.6cm)
Color: silver
Precautions
- Newton's pendulum ball moves according to the law of conservation of momentum. Due to the resistance in the air, Newton's pendulum ball will not move all the time. The swing time of the copper ball is about 15 seconds in an upright situation.
- First, pull the left ball away by 15~20mm, then let it go, and the ball on the right next to it will stop after colliding with it, while the ball on the right will swing up, and the distance of swing is equal to the distance of the ball on the left. Much the same.
